The TSA body scanners can pick up a lot more than originally believed. Follow this link for an incredible look at what can actually be seen by these scanners (WARNING: this link is NSFW).
I hope people realise what the incentives are here: government accountability and their record of abuses and being able to screen out perverts is abysmal. Combine this with the ability to see anyone who flies naked, and that these images can be stored/emailed/transferred and this should lead to immediate outrage.

Still, the body scans just don’t bother me. After the supposed pervs look at 10,000 bodies in a day, they’ve pretty much seen it all.
The problem I have with it is that it still leaves room for human error because humans have to look at the scans. They could still miss something. But I don’t fly but more than once every other year MAYBE, so it just doesn’t matter much to me. It’s always an uncomfortable adventure.
