Thanks for the message.
With out the Power of the Holy Spirit Cristian life become barren.
We in India see a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We need partnership with God's People world over.

Zachariah,

If you happen to make it back to the blog, I would love to hear of the great outpouring you are experiencing in India. I have heard great things from people who have gone there. Most of the stories I have heard are related to evangelistic meetings.

A minister whom I greatly respect told of a blind child who had no pupils; his eyeballs were just white. When she prayed for him, she watched as she described the eyes being "painted" in. For the first time in his life the child received his sight.

Many people in the U.S. are very skeptical of these kinds of testimonies. They know only of that brand of Christianity in the historic context, and haven't seen it first hand. They may even believe in it on paper, but in all honesty they know nothing of the real power. Consequently many fall away, being lulled into sleep by an intellectual gospel that barely resembles the biblical one. But hallelujah! Jesus is not dead! He is risen and he is still confirming his word with signs following through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

"4For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction..."

- I Thessalonians 1:4,5 (NIV)
